A joint venture with Krupp Polysius for the design, delivery, construction, erection and commissioning for a new cement grinding plant with a capacity of 80 tons per hour at Athi River, Kenya

H Young scope of responsibility covered the civil and structural steel works as well as the local transportation of machinery and equipment fabricated locally and the erection and commissioning of the mill including:

• Construction of the mill building, intake structure for additive handling, mill feed building, conveyor supports, compressor room
• Mechanical electrical and instrumentation installations for clinker loading, chutes ducts mill hoppers-feed hoppers, weight feeders, troughed belt conveyor, mill discharge and material handling.
• Electrical installations for MV & LV switch gears, MV & LV motors, frequency converter panels, transformers, MCC, variable speed drives
